Working Student, Physiotherapy — Caritas-Klinik St. Anna, Berlin

November 2025 – present · Berlin-Charlottenburg · Part-time alongside my M.Sc.

I am a working student in the physiotherapy department of Caritas-Klinik St. Anna, in a hands-on clinical role treating patients on the geriatric medicine (Altersmedizin) ward. Older patients come here for inpatient rehabilitation after acute treatment in another hospital, and usually stay for about three weeks. The interdisciplinary team focuses on setting rehabilitation goals and planning each patient’s discharge.

• A daily caseload of 10–12 patients, many with multimorbidity, frailty and complex rehabilitation needs
• Setting goals with patients and adapting treatment to each person’s needs
• Coordinating treatment with colleagues in the interdisciplinary team
• All patient care, team communication and clinical documentation in German
